Our Community Care Podiatry Service team offers a variety of short-term and long-term podiatry care to residents of the ACT who hold a Centrelink Pension Card or Low-income Health Care Card.

Our services are available to residents of the ACT who hold an Australian Government Pension Card or a Low-income Health Care Card.
If you are aged 65 years and over (50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples) and you would like to attend the Community Care Podiatry Services, you or your GP need to make a referral through My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422.
If you are aged under 65 or an NDIS participant, you may make an appointment by calling Central Health Intake on (02) 5124 9977.
Please note: funding requirements apply for NDIS participants.
During your first appointment with the Podiatrist, your pension card or low-income health care card will be checked to ensure you’re eligible for the service. We will also check your medical history.
The Podiatrist will then look at the overall health of your feet, provide you with treatment and talk to you about short-term and long-term treatment options. These may include options for care within the service or with other community providers such as private podiatrists. We set aside around one hour for your first appointment.
